Technical details
Upload an image, choose embroidery size and fabric, then generate. We automatically configure the stitches and their parameters.
Artwork and stitches use the same scale. The stitch preview uses the needle positions exported to DST. Zoom in, then drag or use the arrow keys to inspect details.
Choose the best embroidery
One design with different stitches and outlines.
Edit with words
Tell the assistant the size, fabric, background or stitch density you want. It will rebuild your embroidery.
The slider follows the exported stitch order. Use its arrow keys for individual stitches. Blue dashed lines show travel without sewing; playback speed is not machine speed.
EMBRIXELL QUALITY CHECK
Checks generated needle paths at the selected size. Coverage measures sampled top stitches; skipped or rejected fill is assessed separately. A sew-out is still required.
Tries safe constructions on the same objects and size. Applies only a measured improvement; unresolved issues stay visible.
Select a thread phase to inspect the design at the end of that phase.
Edit letters and parts
Set fill direction for each separately detected letter or part. Touching letters may appear as one part. Direction affects tatami fill; satin columns follow the shape.
Try the size on your garment
Print a full-size paper template and hold it against your T-shirt or hoodie. Check the size and position before stitching.
We recommend a sample sew on the same fabric with the same thread before producing the final item.
Your embroidery files

PES v6 stores the design colors. JEF uses nearby Janome palette shades. DST and Melco EXP need the thread sheet for colors. BERNINA USB may also require INF/BMP files from BERNINA software. Check your machine's format, hoop and stitch limit.
The ZIP includes every format available at this size. Choose below only if you want a single file.
Some older Brother machines limit PES design size. Check the supported hoop in your machine manual.
What would you like to do?
Digital files only. No garment or physical embroidery is included. Test the design on your intended fabric before production.
How to check your embroidery
- Set the final size, fabric and thread. Check the background and small details against the original artwork.
- Play the stitch order. Inspect underlay, fill, edges and jumps. Adjust fill direction or spacing, then build again.
- Download the full DST and test on the same fabric, stabilizer and thread as the final piece. Compare gaps and puckering; adjust compensation or density and repeat.
Something wrong with the result?
Download a report with the app version, settings and result information. It contains no image or AI conversation and is not sent automatically.
Create and review the preview for free. Buy the machine files only when you are satisfied, and always test the design on scrap fabric before production.
Pay for only one design
Upload your image and check the preview first. Pay when you want the machine files for this design and size.
- Automatic colors and stitch planning
- Your selected finished size
- Available formats in one ZIP · no extra charge per format
- No subscription required
After generating the design, pay securely with Stripe or unlock it with subscription credits.
Test orders
Payment rehearsal with test cards only. Real sales are not open. Each order keeps the design and size shown when it was created.
Creating a test order sends the analyzed design to our server to rebuild the DST. Test files are available for 7 days; order records for 30 days. Expired data is removed during subsequent service activity. The original image is not uploaded. Stripe handles test payment details.

Before your first embroidery
Will the file work on my machine?
Download DST for Ricoma/Tajima, PES v6 for compatible Brother/Baby Lock models and PE-DESIGN, JEF for Janome/Elna, or Melco EXP. Hatch/Wilcom can import machine formats. Check the exact model, hoop and stitch limits. These are stitch files, not editable EMB/ART projects; resize in Embrixell before export.
Do I need to choose colors or stitches?
Upload an image, choose embroidery size and fabric, then generate. We automatically configure the stitches and their parameters.
Will it match the picture exactly?
Thread cannot reproduce every pixel or tiny detail. Check the preview and any detail notices before downloading. A sample sewn on your fabric is the way to judge the finished result.
What happens to my image?
Without consent to Meta AI recognition, the image stays in your browser and uses local processing. If you explicitly enable recognition, a normalized copy is sent through the Embrixell server to Meta AI to recognize objects and their masks. During this analysis, Embrixell does not store the image or model response in its database. Masks return to your browser and can become part of a saved project. Stitches are generated in your browser. Cloud saving is an explicit action and stores the project, including its original image, in your private account. A paid digital order sends the design data needed to deliver the machine file. A physical order can store the original image, preview and production files needed to manufacture and deliver it. Signing in alone does not save your image. Details of processing, recipients and retention are in the privacy policy.
Embrixell turns an image into a stitch plan you can review before choosing a machine file or a finished embroidered product. Use your own logo, a simple illustration or artwork you are authorised to reproduce. The online workspace lets you set the real embroidery size and material, inspect the thread preview and decide which route suits your project. A picture is the starting point, not a finished machine program: digitisation must account for fabric, stitch direction, colour changes and details that thread can actually reproduce.
How to create your embroidery
Upload your artwork and check that the background and important shapes are clear. Set the width in millimetres and choose the intended material. Create the preview, inspect small lettering, outlines and colour areas, and review any quality notices. When the result suits your project, choose the available machine format and complete the purchase to download your files. If you do not have an embroidery machine, use the production route and choose an available product, colour, size and placement instead.
Machine formats and compatibility
The generator offers DST, PES, JEF, EXP, VP3 and XXX machine stitch formats. Which one you need depends on the exact machine model and software, not only its brand. Check the manufacturer’s documentation, maximum hoop size, stitch limit and supported format version before purchase. Machine files contain stitches rather than an editable EMB or ART design project. Change the intended size in Embrixell before export; stretching a finished stitch file can change density and weaken the result.
Which images work best?
Start with a sharp, flat-colour logo or a drawing with clean edges and good contrast. A limited palette, often around six main colours, is a practical starting point rather than a technical limit. Small text, very thin lines, shadows, gradients and photographic textures may need simplification. Review the design at its actual size, not just zoomed in on a screen. Leave enough space between shapes, remove unnecessary background and choose artwork you own or have permission to use.
Preview first, files from €2.49
The preview lets you assess the plan before buying a digital file. The generator’s one-time file price starts at €2.49 and depends on the resulting stitch count; larger plans use the published price tiers. Resizing can change the number of stitches and therefore the price. Optional subscriptions remain available for customers who create designs regularly. Catalogue designs have their own displayed prices. A finished product is quoted separately for the selected textile, embroidery, quantity and delivery, with the total shown before payment.

Practical questions before you start
Is the preview a photograph of a sewn product?
No. It shows the planned embroidery. Thread, stabiliser, tension and fabric affect the actual result. Sew a sample on comparable material before a larger production run.
Can I buy several items together?
The cart supports eligible digital files and physical products. Check the selected variants and quantities; a digital file and a finished embroidered garment are different purchases.
Do I need to own an embroidery machine?
Only if you intend to sew the downloaded machine file yourself. You can also choose an available finished-product offer and have the design embroidered for you.
